Pricing
The figures below are indicative ranges for complete, commissioned grid-connected systems, in Moldovan lei, including VAT. They are published so you can judge whether a project is worth pursuing before you spend time on a survey. A binding price comes only from a fixed-price offer after we have seen the roof.

Where a project lands inside its range depends mainly on the roof. A simple, accessible metal-sheet pitch sits near the bottom of the band. A tile roof needing individual hanger bolts, a two- or three-plane layout, a long cable run to the consumer unit, or a roof that requires scaffolding rather than a ladder will push a project towards the top of it.
What is included
- Photovoltaic modules with the manufacturer’s product and performance warranty registered in your name.
- Inverter sized to the array, with monitoring configured and a portal login handed over.
- Mounting system in anodised aluminium with stainless fixings, specified for your roof covering.
- DC and AC cabling, conduit, isolators, and surge protection on both sides.
- Earthing and bonding, plus any consumer-unit modifications the connection requires.
- Structural check and full site survey.
- Preparation and submission of the grid connection application to the distribution operator on your behalf.
- Commissioning, grid protection settings, and a handover pack with the single-line diagram, test results and equipment documentation.
- Ten-year LumoCasa workmanship guarantee on the installation itself.
What is not included
- Battery storage. Add roughly 34,000–42,000 MDL for a 5 kWh LFP pack with its inverter, and about 6,500 MDL per additional kWh.
- Roof repairs or re-covering discovered at survey. We will quote these separately or tell you to have them done first.
- Travel mobilisation outside 40 km of Chișinău. See the Coverage Area page for the range.
- Upgrades to your service connection where the distribution operator requires them.
- Bidirectional meter replacement, which the distribution operator carries out under its own tariff.
Payment terms
Our standard schedule for residential work is 40 percent on signature of the contract, 50 percent on delivery of the equipment to site, and the remaining 10 percent on commissioning and handover. The final tranche is not due until the system is producing and you have the handover pack in your hands.
We accept bank transfer to our account at a Moldovan commercial bank. We do not take cash for amounts above 10,000 MDL. Invoices are issued in MDL; where a customer prefers a euro-denominated contract we can do that, converted at the National Bank rate on the day of each invoice.
Lead time
From a signed contract and cleared deposit, delivery and installation typically take three to four weeks. Grid connection paperwork runs in parallel with that period. Installation itself is one to three working days on site for a residential system of this size.
Validity
Fixed-price offers are valid for 30 days. The ranges on this page are reviewed quarterly and were last updated in July 2026; module and inverter prices move with the euro exchange rate, so treat them as a guide rather than a quotation.
